Rev Neil Lachlan McDonald - Winter 2026
‘Lachie’ has been the Minister of the Lochbroom and Coigach congregation since September 2017. Originally from Inverness, but with a family heritage in Coigach, Lachie is married to Catherine Joan (CJ) and they have two children. When Lachie is not in the study, preaching or serving the wider church, you can probably find him tinkering with his vintage Massey Ferguson, or driving some form of heavy machinery.
In Aug 2025, he was appointed to the role of Principal Clerk of the Commission of Assembly.
The Assembly Clerks’ Office looks after arrangements for the annual General Assembly and the Commission of Assembly meetings. It advises the Boards and Presbyteries on matters of church practice and procedure, as well as coordinating nominations to fill vacancies on the Boards and Committees.
